A Rant...
Sorry, but I have to rant for a second about Target's return policy. It sucks. I mean...shouldn't you at least be able to get store credit for a gift that was purchased there?
I had yet another very frustrating moment their service desk today. I managed to look everywhere for the gift receipt, somehow I just can't seem to locate it. and...I'm sure when I do...it will be past than 90 days or whatever their "policy" is.
I just don't understand how such a great store can have such a terrible return policy. I knew I shouldn't have even bothered, but I just had to give it the old college try. Then the inevitable happened, I was struck down...and had no other option to leave the service desk shaking my head and swearing I'll never buy anything there ever again. Unfortunately, we all know how that goes.
Is anyone else with me on this one?

i agree 100%...target's return policy is AWFUL!!! so annoying! i tell everyone who is registering not to register there!!! but...i still love shopping there!
I HEAR YOU ... we need to all write letters to the corporate office! Not that they would care. I wish I didn't love Target so much or I would boycott it! Hope ya'll had fun today ... we missed seeing you!

HATE 'EM! Definitely am with you, girl!!!! I seriously think I can change things and I swear I am never going back...but somehow I remain a customer :)
oh yes i have shared in this experience - the one in mobile only allows two (i think) returns wihtout a receipt in one calendar year - you have to show them your drivers license...CRAZY. i have done the same thing with a gift that did not have the receipt. ARGH!
I don't like target either. First of all, they always put the cat toys next to my stuff. As if! They should put that crap on the other side of the store!
Also, they have the totally wrong food. I get mine at the vet (see my kibble review on the blog). And their toys are so ... shreddable. I tell Mom to get my stuff at petsmart or online at the AKC.
But the WORST is the clothes. I mean, why do they perPETuate the image that all dogs wear a size zero? I know everyone likes a pomeranian but seriously, why cant they carry a sweater in my size? This is how dogs get self image issues!
If I didnt love treats so much, I would boycott. But they do have Bacon with a shelf life of 1000 years so how can I resist?
