Not quite the surprise I was hoping for, but at 5:30am I got a wake up call. Chloe...screaming in her crib. Usually she checks out at 7pm and we don't hear from her until around 7:30am the next morning. Unfortunately that wasn't the case this morning. Hmmm...5:30am was a little, well just plain EARLY!
When I got to her crib, I immediately checked her forehead to see if she might have a temp. She was fine... I took a deep breath and noticed them...and smelled them too. There they were. All four of them.
Regurgitated.
Gross.
Chunks.
Hunks.
Nuggets.
Morningstar Farm Nuggets.
YUCK! Of course I immediately scooped her up and proceeded to cuddle her and call her my little nugget all morning long. Miss Independent's belly didn't feel good and she was very receptive of all the cuddles and attention.
Fortunately she was only puny in the morning and by 11am was bright eyed & bushy tailed!!! We were very thankful! Maybe just a bad batch? She sure did like the nuggets she sampled on Friday at the Playdate Tasting! :)

Surprise!

I breathed a sigh of relief that those nuggets weren't the ones I brought! But, poor Chloe! (and poor you - yuck!) I wonder what it was? At least it didn't take long for her to feel better though!
We better stay away from nuggets!! Isn't it interesting the things you find in their cribs sometimes?!? Scary!
Poor Miss Chloe. We were sad she had to miss swimming because of her little indy tummy. We're thrilled she's feeling better though. We're banning nuggets too!
