Tonight we had Erin (my sorority sis from Tulane) and her husband, Josh, over for dinner. Erin & Josh have been married for 3 years this fall...and last summer expanded their family of two to three, by adding a sweet and loving Pyrapoo named Boudreaux to the mix. He might just be the most spoiled dog on the planet. As I say that, you know our dogs aren't exactly roughing it here at the Conger House. They enjoy their mornings sunning themselves outside, and spend afternoons and countless hours underneath our duvet. Boudreaux on the otherhand spends his weekdays at the Country Club...an upscale doggy resort. He's a lucky dog...and we all know, it's a dogs life!
Erin and Josh were able to make it over a little early on a Friday and spend some Q.T. with baby girl. Erin gave her a bottle and read Chloe her favorite stories. After Chloe went to bed we enjoyed some appetizers. Erin made figs wrapped in bacon served with a honey yogurt sauce. I made smoked salmon salsa on endive leaves. After dinner and a few bottles of wine later, we convinced them to start a bloggie for their doggie. You'll see the link under our friends! They are alot of fun and great sports. We love you two...
