Happy Thanksgiving!
It is hard to believe that it was just a year ago when we had our "big ultrasound" (at 18-20 weeks) confirming for sure that we were having a little girl. I had just started to show right around Thanksgiving too. All of a sudden...poof...and out went the tummy. All of a sudden I looked preggo! Coincidence? Or perhaps just a little too much Pecan Pie and dressing? Ha! :) After the holiday, Tom and I ordered our baby furniture and designed the nursery. We even both agreed on a name...and baby girl became Chloe!
A year later we're pretty much settled into our new life with Chloe. I know everyone always says that it will change your life. Well...it definitely has. A lot. It isn't a lie...or even an exaggeration. She is the most amazing thing either of us has ever experienced. Every morning when we go into her room to greet her, we still stare in awe that we created this little being. Will this feeling ever end? I know...it is crazy. It has been eight months. You'd think we'd be able to comprehend this by now...but it still amazes us both. It is the most incredible feeling and we're so thankful that God blessed us with this sweet little child.
Happy Thanksgiving! We wish you a very special holiday with family, friends, and all you hold dear to your heart. Whether you realize it or not...you mean so much to us and we are so very thankful to have you in our lives.
For what I have received, may the Lord make me truly thankful. And more truly for what I have not received. -Storm Jameson
