Holiday at Hud's House
Today we celebrated our Spring Babies 1st Christmas over at Amanda & Hudson's house. Not only did she invite us all over for Halloween, but she even took on Christmas too! She's very brave! Now all the babies are moving around and trying to get into things, so it was a lot different than our fall get together.
So glad all my buds came over to visit!
Cole, Blake & Chloe are having fun playing on the floor
Miss Blue eyes enjoying Hudson's keys (always a favorite)
Coley in his Christmas sweater and festive plaid
Summer & Blake, Emily & Cole, Meredith & Reid, Leslie & the boys (Luke and Sam), us...and Amanda's friend Mary Jane and her little boy John all came to the playdate. John is still a little one and spent most of the playdate either in his bucket seat...or in his mama's arms. He is so sweet! Amanda had a very yummy lunch for us...pizza, Crazy Bread (gotta love the crazy bread), and a delicious salad. Two of our friends brought some tasty brownies too! We tried to eat while also watching the kiddos and managed only to spill a few sodas here and there. It is crazy how fast they can get into something if they want it!
After lunch we all drew reindeer names and then did a dirty santa type deal where we went in the order of the reindeer procession in The Night Before Christmas. Rudolph got to go first & last! It was Summer's idea and it was a lot of fun...I thought it was pretty creative and all of the holiday gift swaps I've been too...I've never seen that one done before. First we exchanged baby gifts...and then the mamas had an ornament exchange. I ended up two gifts from Meredith & Reid and they were both so cute!!!
Silly boys...Luke & Sam romping in the wrap!
All the babies except for little John

first playdate in '08?!?!
Thanks Amanda for the fun & festive playdate! Can't wait to see everyone in January and hope you all have a very special 1st Christmas with your precious little ones. We treasure the friendships we've made and are looking forward to all of the fun we'll have together in 2008!

You got great pictures from the Christmas exchange party. It was great seeing you. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. I know it will fly by! See you in 08.
Your pics are so much better than mine! And I like the one of Cole 'talking'. Was that YOU offering your house for playdate #1 of 2008? :)
