...to run the roads and shop like crazy. I took full advantage of my Mother's Day Out today. I hit 11 stores. Yes, 11! Maybe 9...I was counting the car wash as well as the Kroger's drive-thru pharmacy where I had a bit of a driving altercation. See...my car ended up straddling a traffic island next to the drive through pharmacy when I was trying to U-Turn to exit. It is hard to explain without being there...but it was a hairy situation. Fortunately it ended on a positive note thanks to a very nice gentleman passing by that offered to help me out. He stopped just as I was on my cell telling Tom what had happened. Jeez...why couldn't he have stopped about 30 seconds sooner??? He was very kind and had me inch forwards and back until I was out of the woods. Gosh...how do things like that happen? Needless to say I gave him a wad of cash to thank him for stopping and helping me out. He definitely saved me from some big car repairs!
Whew...it was truly a crazy day! Thank God for M.D.O. It probably would have taken me 5 days to run these errands taking Chloe with me.
It's official though. I am finally ready for the holidays.
Well...unless you count all that wrapping I have to do now!

I HEAR YOU! I dropped B off at 9:30 and was able to hit 7 or 8 stores before picking him up early at 1. (He won't take a bottle anymore, so I didn't want him to starve!) It was FABULOUS being able to run in and out of stores without unloading stroller, diaper bag, baby, and then reloading after each stop. I LOVE MDO!!!
P.S. Sorry to hear about your car incident ... so glad there are some nice people out there who are willing to help!
