First Playdate of '08

The Spring Babies are back...and bigger than ever! We had our first playdate of 2008 over at our house today. It was quite different than the playdates of old...even compared to the last time we all got together in December. Not only are most of the kiddos crawling, they are standing, cruising, babbling, rolling around like crazy, eating table food, and trying to walk with assistance! It is so funny to see them playing with their toys...and each other. I remember when Chloe was just a little newborn it felt like she was never going to play and really wasn't too interested in toys. Well...the time has come and she loves all of the plastic playthings that have somehow taken over our home.

It was so nice catching up with all our friends today. Emily & Cole, Summer & Blake, Meredith & Reid, Brooke & Wyatt, Courtney & Owen all came over for our playdate. It has truly been a blessing meeting up with these amazing moms and their sweet little babies. I'm so thankful for the friendships we've formed and the opportunity to watch these sweet babies grow into little people. It sure has been amazing watching their little personalities blossom!

I was hoping it wouldn't be in the 80's today since I decided to make soup for lunch. Thankfully it was a tad bit chilly today! We had Creamy Tomato Soup & Southwest White Chili along with a salad.

Blake thought our toys were lame...but had the best time with our Aquafina bottle! Chloe and Wyatt...we've missed seeing him! Hud came for a short visit after his nap
