Legends of Rock

Not sure if any of you have ever played Guitar Hero, but my friend Becky told me she bought it for her husband and son for Christmas. It sounded like a lot of fun, so I thought it might make for an interesting birthday gift for Tom (his birthday is in February). We've had an xbox 360 for 2 years...and since Tom brought it home we've been searching to find a game that we enjoy playing together. They are all shoot 'em up...which is definitely not for me! Whatever happened to Mario, Qbert, and Frogger??? Anyways, I happened to bring up Guitar Hero one day...kind of testing the water to see if he'd heard of it and if there was any interest. Tom actually had downloaded a trial version on xbox live several months ago...so we tested it out. How fun!!! I think we had 6 songs to try out and we soon became pretty darn good at the songs. As you can see, it kind of ended up being an early birthday gift. We thought it was pretty funny that Chloe's Superstar stage also made the picture...I'm sure she'll be our back up and main groupie one day!!! Who would have ever thought that I could get into heavy metal? I can't wait to have a face off with our friends Becky &Richard and their son Devin (who will probably kick our butts) when they come to visit in February!
