Already...6 months old!

I can't believe my little girl is already 6 months old! Seems like just yesterday when we were coming home from the hospital. I remember thinking...wow, six months seems so far away. Well, it is here. To think in the next six months she'll be rolling all around & sitting up (very soon!), crawling, walking...and celebrating her 1 year birthday. Too crazy to imagine actually. She went in for her 6 month check up and she is officially...

15 pounds 1 ounce (25-50th percentile-approx. 30th)

25 1/2 inches in length (25-50th approx. 30th)

42 cm head circumference (50th percentile)

My little girl isn't a preemie anymore! Some of her favorite things include...my silly songs that I like to sing to her (one of her favorites...Splish Splash I Was Takin' a Bath), her Daddy's silly faces that he makes to get her to smile, airplane rides (the ones that Tom and I give her...definitely not real airplane rides!), peas, bananas, sucking her thumb, spending time in her swing, going shopping in her Baby Bjorn, walking in the neighborhood, splashing around in her bathtub, and of course hanging out with all her handsome Spring Baby Boyfriends. If you ask me...I think she's the luckiest little girl in the whole world. She must have more boyfriends than any little girl I know...of course I only know a few! She also has decided she likes getting a little massage before bedtime...hmm, not such a bad gig, eh?

Tom and I are having so much fun with her. Even though it has been 6 months, we still look at her in amazement that we made this little person and feel so blessed that she is part of our life together.
