Tagged...

O.k., o.k...I guess since both Leslie and Summer tagged me, I'm it! Yikes...not sure I'm good at these things, but here I'll take a stab at it. 1. What were you doing 10 years ago? September 1997, Starting my senior year of college and job searching! Fun, fun! I wanted to make sure that I had a good job, because if I didn't...I'd most likely end up back in Pittsburgh...which wasn't an option! 2. What were you doing 5 years ago? September 2002. Tom and I had been married for 2 years and had just gotten back from celebrating our 2nd anniversary in the Bahamas. I was working at PacifiCare as an account manager (loved that job). Seems like we were always doing a project around the house...some sort of landscaping, painting...or something! Traveling alot and just enjoying our time being married without any kiddos! wow...how life has changed. 3. What were you going 1 year ago? September 2006. We were 3 months pregnant and I was just getting ready to tell my manager I was pregnant. Tom & I went to visit his Aunt Angie, Uncle Eric, Asia & Colton in Tampa. We went deep sea fishing and I had the most catch!!! It was so much fun. I'd post pictures pictures of my big catch, but our camera was stolen during my hubby's business trip that followed our trip to Tampa! Isn't that the story that every good fisher-woman tells?!?! Working at Destiny Health/Guardian with my friend Jamie who I miss so much. Hanging out with my JL Trinkets Friends, Provisional Group...and KK girls! I've met so many great friends through JL. 4. What did you do yesterday? My husband was being super sweet and let me sleep in. He decided to go out on the porch and drink coffee. Unfortunately the dogs got me up to let them out, so it didn't go as planned. I enjoyed my coffee and we read the paper together until Chloe got up. Then we spent time with her...watched some football. Last night we had our neighbors over and had a roast that I made. It was yummy (even if I do say so myself)! 5. Snacks I enjoy: Pretty sure this would be easier if it was Snacks I don't enjoy eating! I love good cake, coconut/banana cream/peanut butter pie, ice cream and frozen custard (Oceanaire's Peanut Butter Pie is to DIE for!), frozen yogurt and any other really delicious and sinful treat! I also like baked cheetos. Yum! My typical snacks though are fiber one breakfast bars, pudding snacks...and string cheese. Very boring. 6. Things I would do with $100 million dollars: Just the fun things - -Purchase and Decorate our dream home. It would definitely have a big wrap around porch with big comfy rocking chairs and huge yard with lots of magnolia trees and hydrangeas. -Have a beach house maybe at Seaside or Watercolor. We'd definitely have a sailboat. -Get a convertible Jag (very practical mom car, don't you think?) probably white. Chloe would be in the back seat and Figaro would hang out in the back window...Enzy would be riding shotgun or on Tom's lap. I guess I'd have a mom car too, but not sure what. -Get a very high end espresso machine -Travel...alot! We'd definitely have our own jet if we had $100 million. None of this sitting in coach with a baby type travel! -We'd have our own waitstaff...full time housekeeper, pet butler (amen!), laundress, and chef (she would make us spa food and all of Chloe's food would be homemade and organic). -Indulge in frequent massages, facials, and spa treatments!!! -Chloe couture...probably shop at NM instead of Gymboree and lots of fun boutiques that I can't afford now! -Have a cool wardrobe and really splurge on lots of designer denim, fabulous shoes, handbags and watches! Probably could get some really cool diamonds too for $100 mil. -Donate $ to Tulane. -Spoil my god babies (like they aren't already spoiled!) O.k. I think I need to stop!!! 7. Locations I would run to: gosh...probably too many to list. Anywhere in the Carribean including the British Virgin Islands, Nevis, Caymans, wine tasting in California, visit Carmel, Charleston SC, Seaside FL, Figi, Greek Islands, Italy...and travel around Europe. 8. Bad habit I have: I have many...1) Worrying...I'm pretty darn good at it too. 2) Being too hard on myself and beating myself up constantly (I have mastered this). 3) Feeling extreme amounts of guilt (about basically anything and everything). 4) Avoiding confrontation (i have a degree in this) 5) Being a slacker blog mom 9. Things I like to do: i love getting up and enjoying my coffee on saturday and sunday with tom, snuggling in bed at night and with my hubby and our sweet little dogs...it puts a smile on my face just thinking about it, cooking & baking, entertaining, spending QT with friends (and little ones too) connecting and just hanging out, enjoy a good pedicure.
10. Biggest joy of the moment: Being a mom and watching my little girl grow up having the chance to be home with her to enjoy it. It isn't always the easiest job, but it is definitely the most rewarding! Thanks for reading. Jennifer M., Erin, and Courtney...you're it!!

You need to stop worrying because you're a rockstar. I think you are a wonderful mama and friend. I'll do this just for you!
