Even though I'm at home with Chloe, I still love the weekend. Maybe it is because I actually get to spend time with Tom. I love just hanging out together and relaxing with our little girl. Not only is it fun to be together as a family...but it is also fun getting together with friends and just have a chance to hang out! Kind of like the best of both worlds...life pre & post-Chloe!
Friday we had the Booths, Malones, and Rissmillers over for dinner...and had a super fun evening. The girls had some cocktails outside and watched the kiddos play. The boys enjoyed their beers inside and talked about work (lots of fun!), sports, and vacation! (actually...I'm guessing about the boys conversation, but I'm pretty sure I'm dead on). While Katie and Jackson watched Happy Feet, all the moms & dads enjoyed a pretty laid back dinner with great conversation. We even managed to enjoy dessert on the porch!
Thanks for the fun night...we'll have to do it again soon!
