Just Like Old Times...

After the rain cleared this morning, Chloe and I enjoyed getting out for awhile and meeting my good friend Tana for lunch at Jen's Place in Addison. I've known Tana for nearly five years...we met when we both worked at PacifiCare. It's kind of funny...we almost had an opportunity to work together a second time...but I was put on bedrest shortly before her first day at The Guardian. Tana is spirited, quirky, good-hearted, and fun...and I treasure her friendship so much. We've always had so much fun trying new restaurants, catching flicks at the Angelika, and of course doing what us girls do best...engaging in retail therapy! Pre-Chloe, we'd meet for a little spa day and get facials together at Renee Rouleau's. Afterwards we'd catch up on all the good gossip over brunch at Kathleen's Art Cafe. We enjoyed our lunch at Jen's and I found out what I was missing around the office, which is not much apparently! We chatted about our holiday plans and family stuff. Tana got to see Chloe's new pink shoes that she was sporting and her first two teeth!
