Seems like the baby bug is going around. No...not the itch to have another! Literally all the
bebes seem to be sick or getting sick. Too hard to guess who got what from who or which got what from where. There is no use even trying to figure that one out. Babies are babies...and they drool, spit-up, and put their hands on anything they can...and then, how lovely...put them in their mouths. I guess it is just being new parents and coming to the realization that the next few years of our lives we are going to be spend tending to colds, coughs, congestion, and runny little noses! At least that is what the nurse at the doctors office told me to expect...unless of course we are planning on moving into a bubble!
In light of these realizations, we spent the entire weekend homeward bound taking care of Chloe. She was in great spirits...and was such a trooper even when she had to do her breathing treatments. Her doctor is awesome and I'm so glad we were able to get in to see her on Friday and got medicine...otherwise it might have gotten much worse and we may have perhaps ended up at the urgent care or ER.
She is on the mend though and in great spirits! She was an excellent patient.

Chloe enjoying her first rose ever! It was a yellow rose from Cole signifying friendship. He told her to get well soon! What a sweet boy.

Does she look sick?
O.K...well maybe just a little! Daddy helping with her breathing treatment. She fell asleep while getting it. It has really helped ease her cough and congestion. What a great patient!
We were sad to miss out on a fun dinner Saturday evening at
The Malone's. Although we had been looking forward to it for weeks and it was so sad canceling, we still had fun at home spending some quality family time together. After Chloe went to bed, Tom & I grilled out together, shared a bottle (or perhaps two?) of wine...and reconnected after a long week. How much our life has changed if one year. Our weekend was complete hanging out in our
pj's, brewing some fresh espresso, and catching up on our backlogged
TIVO que full of unwatched shows as our sweet baby girl lay in bliss, peacefully asleep.
