Paradise Found
Tom & I have been looking forward to our trip to Grand Cayman since last May. Grandma & Grandpapa (Tom's parents) said they would love to come to Dallas and keep Chloe so that the two of us could escape for some much needed couple time, R&R, sunshine, and fun! We knew we were leaving Chloe in great hands, so it was fantastic to be able to get away for an entire week without worrying about her. I know they were thrilled to spend and entire week with Chloe, but I have to say again how much we appreciated them taking vacation time before they retire in January to come down to Dallas for 10 days! So great of them...
Grand Cayman definitely did not disappoint. The weather while we were there was fabulous...in the 80's during the day with a nice warm breeze on the beach. The water was the perfect too. Grand Cayman is a quiet island...which was one of the reasons why we wanted to go there. Our plan was to relax....and that we did! We enjoyed our time at the resort, beach, pool, and spa. We went snorkeling, went swimming with sting rays, and enjoyed great seafood and sushi! We definitely had our share of champagne and were introduced to a new favorite cocktail, a Cayman Colada. We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton on Seven Mile Beach. The beach was breathtaking. Tom can definitely take me back to GC anytime!
My pictures aren't very exciting...beach, pool, beach, pool...you get the picture!
This made me laugh. Think I could use it at home when
I want to sleep in? Ha!
The pool...
Surf's Up! Time to hit the beach!
Just kickin' back and relaxin' at the beach
Chillin' by the ocean...
Cocktail time at the Club Lounge
In the Lobby on our way to Yoshi's for sushi.
St. Patty's Day flowers
Trip to Stingray City where we swam with the stingray. We jumped in right after our guide (that is him in the pic)... I had to leave my camera on the boat, but all of the dark spots in the water are all stingray. We fed them and they just swam around us. We should both have 7 years of good luck, because we both were crazy enough to kiss one!
