A Visit From An Uncle...Far Away

As most of you know...our family lives VERY far away. We haven't had many family members visit us in Texas, other than our immediate family of course. However, we always LOVE to see family and welcome anyone that comes to visit us. Chloe's Great Uncle Pat was in town on business. Uncle Pat is Tom's Dad's Sister's (Aunt Monica's) husband. He flew into Dallas and then headed out West to Lubbock making sales calls. Tonight he was back in the Big D and came over to see Chloe. We were also lucky enough to have dinner together. Tom grilled steaks and I made some roasted potatoes, salad, and a berry brownie trifle. He had an early flight out and thankfully decided to stay with us since we're not too far from the airport! He is such a sweet man...which is obvious by the big pink dog he found during his adventures in West Texas. He carried it around all week in the trunk of his rental for little Chloe. Wasn't that sweet? It is the cutest thing...and funny enough went with her birthday theme! I think we'll definitely be finding a special place for it in her pink room! We had a great time visiting and hearing updates and the where-abouts on all of our family in Michigan! Thanks Uncle Pat for making time to see us. We certainly enjoyed our visit! Chloe and her new Pink Pooch! Enzy was pretty excited to meet Great Uncle Pat too! Tom & Uncle Pat
